SVP Business Development & Pharmacy Services

Young Fried recently joined HealthTrust’s executive leadership team as the Senior Vice President of Business Development & Pharmacy Services, with responsibility for the HealthTrust Insurance and Human Resources offerings as well as the Pharmacy Portfolio and Services teams.

Previously, Fried served as the VP of Pharmacy Services at Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, where she owned commercial and IFP drug management for medical and pharmacy benefits, covering more than 2 million members and 1,800 employees. Prior to Wellmark, she was the Chief Pharmacy Officer at Cigna U.S. Medical with oversight for integrated clinical program management and pharmacy/medical benefits.

Fried has a Master of Science degree in Applied Pharmaeconomics and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
